Sixteen Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students from the Wadden Sea region and beyond have embarked on a ten-day journey to explore one of the world’s most unique coastal ecosystems.

Practitioners, scientists, policy-makers, conservation managers and non-governmental organisations are now invited to register for the International Scientific Wadden Sea Symposium and the Wadden Sea Day.

The 16th ISWSS will take place from 28 to 30 October 2025 in Groningen, the Netherlands.
